Arterial Performance Data Workshop

January 28, 2010

This workshop brings together academic and agency thought leaders for presentations and discussions on near-term sources and applications of arterial performance data. Each session includes two 30 minute presentations, followed by a 45 minute discussion period.  Register by January 20, 2010. Space may be limited.

LOCATION: University of California, Berkeley. Room TBD.

FEE:

Free for current ITS‐CA members, $10 for non‐members (fees can be applied towards membership)

 

LUNCH: Free for all who register

 

Note that fees will be collected at the workshop and no shows will be invoiced.

 

 

Directions:

 

Here are directions to The Lipman Room, which is located in Barrows Hall on the UC Berkeley campus.  The building can only be accessed by foot once you reach the edge of campus.  The Lipman Room is located on the 8th floor of Barrows Hall.  NOTE:The facility is accessed from the East bank of elevators which operate between the ground and 7th floors. At the 7th floor landing, users can either transfer to the 8th floor elevator or take the stairs to the top floor and the Lipman Room.

TRANSPORTATION

 

Public Transit

  • Use of public transit is highly encouraged, as parking near the UC Campus is very limited and expensive. Both the city of Berkeley and the UCPD aggressively enforce parking regulations and fines are substantial.  Street Parking, if available, is strictly limited to 2 hours – even at meters.  
  • UC Berkeley is very convenient to the Downtown Berkeley BART station.  Walking directions from BART to the workshop location can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/yecqnmv

Driving

  • For attendees convenience, CCIT has reserved a limited number of spaces in the UC MLK Student Union Garage.  Those wishing to make use of one of the reserved spaces should simply tell the garage attendant they will be attending the Arterial Performance Workshop. Please note, although these spaces are reserved for event attendees, guests making use of the garage will still be charged $18 in parking fees.
